D.D. devoted many years as a spot welder at Fry Master. She was a loving mother and grandmother who could always make someone smile and laugh with her amazing personality. D.D. spent her time riding horses, playing with her pets, playing Bunko, ordering things from the T.V., reading her Bible, and praising the Lord.
Left to cherish D.D.'s memories are her husband, Bobby Hughes; daughter, Jamie Breedlove; niece, Daniella Jamison; nephew, Brandon Moseley; grandchildren, Serenity and Caleb Kriger; great-grandchild, Oaklynn Butler; and brother, James Fittz.
She is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Mark Fittz; sister, Amy McMillian; and first husband, James Forrest.
A visitation for D.D. will be held June 26, 2025, at 10:00 AM at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home, 8801 Mansfield Road, Shreveport, Louisiana 71108, followed by a Celebration of Life at 11:00 AM. Officiating the service will be Franklin Walker. Pallbearers are Caleb Kriger, Norman Hughes, Ayden Dove, Mike McArdle, Marquis Bob, and Kirkland Pinkard.
