Debra Ann Noles Pemberton was born August 18, 1956 in Gainesville, Florida to Mary Frances Prevatt Noles and James Russell Noles. She worked for many years in the oil and gas industry and retired as a medical clerk.
Debra adored being a mother and grandmother. She raised her two daughters and helped raise and mentor her grandchildren. She had an unwavering faith in God. She was the best listener and touched many people with her positive attitude. Debra enjoyed reading, watching and discussing politics and traveling. Her most treasured times were spending time around her family and loved ones.
She went home to be with the Lord, after a courageous battle with lung cancer, on Wednesday, September 24, 2025 at the age of 69. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronnie Lee Pemberton and her father, James. Debra will be greatly missed by those who knew her best and loved her most.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Angela Ta and husband, Quy, and Stacey Massey and husband, Patrick; grandchildren, Jordan and husband, Rhyan, Jaiden, Kate, Marshall, Zoe, Morgan, James, Connor, and Mary; her mother, Mary Frances; sisters, Lisa and husband, Jimmy and Marianne and husband, Jeff; along with multiple nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life graveside service for Debra will be held Monday, September 29, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Centuries Memorial Park, 8801 Mansfield Road, Shreveport, LA 71108.
The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to the staff at The Carpenter House of Shreveport, Dr. Kavitha Beedupalli, Dr. Ricky Bass, Dr. Scott McRight, Dr. Brad Chauvin and Dr. Ed Morgan for their care and compassion shown to Debra.
