Shreveport, LA Dewanna Davis King, 53, passed away Wednesday, December, 17 in Shreveport. Visitation with the family will be Friday, December 19, 2014 at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home from 3:30 until 6 PM. A memorial service will be held Saturday, December 20, 2014, 2:00 PM at the funeral home.
Mrs. King was a 1979 graduate of Southwood High School. She was a 20 year employee of Libbey Glass until retiring in 2011. She had a great love for animals, especially dogs and cats.
Mrs. King is survived by her husband, David King; son, Dominc Yanez; step-son, Adam King; parents, Mary Nell and Gerald Davis; sister, Gwen Foster and husband Rob; one niece; one nephew; and several other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Humane Society.
