

She made Shreveport her forever home, having graduating from Byrd High School in 1964, and attending LSU where she was a member of Alpha Chi Omega. While Donna worked outside the home in various capacities, including apartment management, her priority was raising her loving family. She married Darrell Hansford who retired as a district chief from the Shreveport Fire Department, and on the 23rd of this month, they would have been married for 50 years.
She is survived by her husband Darrell; son Scott Hansford, fiancé Stacey Blair, and his son Ryan of Weatherford, TX; son Jason Hansford of Shreveport; daughter Taryn (Hansford) Riden,her husband Dewey and their sons Connor and Hunter Riden of Abilene, TX; and sister Rhonda (Burrows) Hooper and her husband Stephen of Oklahoma City, OK.

Services will be officiated by Pastor John Harp from Brookwood Baptist Church. Visitation/Viewing will be held on Tuesday, January 10 from 5:00-7:00 pm at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home Chapel, 8801 Mansfield Rd; and funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 11 at 10:00 am at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Panola, TX following services.
Pallbearers will be Stephen Hooper, Dewey Riden, Al Delaune, Connor Riden, Hunter Riden, and Ryan Hansford. Floral offerings should be delivered to the funeral home or in lieu of, the family asks that you consider a donation to the Alzheimer’s Association in her name.
