
BOSSIER CITY, LA – Celebration of Life services for Donna S. Bogue Mangiapane, 79, will be held 10:00 a.m., Saturday, August 20, 2011, in the Centuries Memorial Chapel with Dr. Larry Williams of Broadmoor Baptist Church, Shreveport, Louisiana. Interment will immediately follow in the Centuries Memorial Park, Shreveport, Louisiana. The family will be receiving friends for visitation from 9:00 a.m. until time of service on Saturday at Centuries.
Mrs. Donna was born April 29, 1932, in Shreveport, Louisiana to the late William Thomas and Ruby Celma Cooper Bogue and was called to her heavenly home August 17, 2011, in Shreveport, Louisiana. She was a life member of the VFW Auxiliary, 3106, and was a past District 12 President. For as long as she was able Mrs. Donna always enjoyed giving back to her community though many volunteer projects. She will be remembered as a devoted wife, loving mother, caring sibling, doting grandmother, and trusted friend to those who knew her.
Mrs. Donna is preceded in death by her parents; one son; Stephen Anthony Mangiapane, and a number of siblings. Left to cherish Donna’s memories and share her stories will be her beloved husband; Samuel Mangiapane, two daughters; Tena Taylor and husband Greg, and Theresa Mangiapane, one son; Larry Mangiapane and wife Pam, one sister; Edrys Brooks and husband Bobby, five grandchildren; Shaun Nuehring, Daniel Nuehring and wife Jen, Amanda Taylor, Gina Marie Graham and husband Jason, Angela Christine Fulton and husband Eirik, ten great grandchildren, along with numerous extended family members and many great friends.
Honoring Mrs. Donna as pallbearers will be Greg Taylor, David Kottenbrook, Steve Carlsrud, Shaun Nuehring, Bernie Mathias and Chris Sibley.
