Dorothy worked in retail sales at KMart for many years. She was a longtime member of Bethel Church of God. Dorothy loved her church family and faithfully attended church as long as she was able. She loved listening to Christian music. Dorothy loved her family dearly. She will be greatly missed by those who knew her best and loved her most.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents; husband Gilbert Cazares; grandson Terry Pepper; three brothers and five sisters.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughter Mary E. Pepper; granddaughter Kelley Jo Pepper Howie and numerous nieces and nephews.
A visitation for Dorothy will be held Friday, September 3, 2021 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home, 8801 Mansfield Road, Shreveport, LA 71108. A Celebration of Life service will follow at 2:00 PM. Interment will be in Centuries Memorial Park.
