Dorothy was a woman who never met a stranger and rarely let a day go by without a good, long phone call. To her, the phone wasn’t just a way to communicate — it was her lifeline to the people she loved. Whether she was catching up with family, checking in on friends, or just sharing the latest neighborhood news, Dorothy had a gift for conversation. She could talk for hours, weaving together stories, laughter, and the kind of heartfelt connection that made you feel like you were the most important person in the world. Some might call it gossip — Dorothy would have called it staying informed.
Her phone calls were more than just chatter. They were her way of showing love, keeping ties strong, and making sure no one ever felt alone. If you knew Dorothy, chances are you got a call from her — maybe at just the right time when you needed it most.
She worked for many years at the Albertsons Deli, where she was known for her beautiful cakes and baked goods. Just like her conversations, everything she made had a personal touch and a whole lot of heart.
Dorothy is survived by her beloved son, Michael Munch; her brother-in-law, Richard Williams; and her cherished grandchildren, Josh Williams and Hannah Williams.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Maurice Munch; her daughters, Cindie Munch and Christine Munch; her father, Lawrence Wells; her mother, Alma Vice Munch, and her brother, Lawrence Wells.
