MR EDWARD ALLISON

Edward Allison of Shreveport, LA, was born on October 15, 1941 in New Orleans, LA and passed away on October 16, 2013 in Shreveport, LA at the age of 72. His service will be at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, October 26, 2013 at Galilee Missionary Baptist Church in Shreveport, LA. Interment will follow at Centuries Memorial Park, Shreveport, LA. Visitation will be held on Friday, October 25, 2013 from the hours of 5:00p.m. until 7:00p.m. at Gaililee Missionary Baptist Church in Shreveport, LA. He was preceded in death by his father, Booker Talveris Allison; mother, Alberta Noble Allison; and brother, Booker T. Allison. Left to cherish his memory are: his daughter, Monica Cooper of New Orleans, LA; son, Kennedy Allison of New Orleans, LA; son, Edwin Allison of Baltimore, Maryland; daughter, Tomika Allison of Caty, TX; daughter, Alicia Allison of Shreveport, LA; sister, Stella Green of New Orleans, LA; and ex-wife, Gloria Allison of Shreveport, LA. He was a strong-minded family man who loved his church. He also loved the Dallas Cowboy’s Football team, wildlife, eagles, and was a part of the Indians with Mardi Gras in New Orleans, LA, and he loved to dance.
