Services for Mr. Ward will be held Friday, August 4, 2023 beginning at 10am. Visitation will be held prior to services Thursday, August 3, 2023 from 5pm until 7pm. The family will hold a private interment at a later date.
Eddy was a decorated member of the Armed Forces, 101 Airborne. He was awarded the Purple Heart and numerous other honors. After serving in the United States Army he went into the culinary arts and became a professional chef. Eddy loved classic country and rock and roll, he enjoyed showing his patriotism for his country and spending time with his family.
Mr. Ward is preceded in death by his parents John and Mildred Lambright; brother, Johnny Lambright; and sister, Millie Hamil.
Left to cherish his memory is his son, Damon Ward; daughter, Jamie McClain (Chris); son, Michael Ward; grandchildren Haley McClain, Hunter McClain, Madalynn Ward, Tiernan Ward, and Colton Roberts; and siblings Juanita Dean, Joann Warner, Trisha Kovacs, Brenda McComic, and Patti Hall.
