Edward proudly served his country in the United States Navy from 1961-1965. He worked as a Civil Design Draftsman and was a lifetime member of Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo (Calf Scramble Committee). He loved fishing, hunting, gardening, and spending time with family, Edward especially enjoyed giving Dixie rides on the 4-wheeler. He will be greatly missed by those who knew him best and loved him most.
Edward was preceded in death by his parents, Billie Williams and Nancy Treadwell Williams.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Deborah Williams; sons, Danny Williams (Beth), Edward Williams, Jr. (Kathleen), and Delaine Borden; daughters, Susan Sharpe (Chris), Melissa O'Neal, and Theresa Butler. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren, and eleven great-grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held Saturday, December 9, 2023 at 11:00 am at New Beginning Baptist Church, 2169 Pumpkin Center Rd., Castor, Louisiana 71016 with Bro. David Boyler officiating. Honoring the family as honorary pallbearers will be Mark Hay, Terry Lawson, Dooley Litton, Matt McCoy, Cade Hay and Bobby Bell. Interment will be at Old Saline Cemetery, 5280 Ridge Road, Castor, Louisiana.
