She dearly loved her children, grand’s and great grand’s.
You may have known her as Edwina, Ms Ed, MoMo or Mawmaw. No matter which name you used, you loved her and her gracious smile, and she loved you. She enjoyed her Tuesday afternoon each week of playing cards and/or dominos with Bob, Lois and Juanita. And amazed that Aunt Lois always won, she kept the score pad. Standing joke. We do appreciate all the time that these three dedicated to their sister and sister in law. Many memories were made. She fixed and served many meals for her family for holidays and family get-togethers. Making sure there was more than enough food and sending you home with plenty to feed your family. Always the servant.
And to her beauty shop friends at the Stonewall Hairworks every Thursday for many, many years. We thank you Sherry, Jackie, Ms Betty, Ms Bea, and Ms Carolyn. Ya’ll were a blessing each week.
Thank you Marilynn Fleming and the Ruth Sunday school class for your continued visits to Momma when she wasn’t able to attend church. This was a very important part of her life. She loved the Lord and HIS word.
We want to especially thank the wonderful staff at The Montclair led by Rene Matheny the director. You ladies were so kind and gracious to her. Thank you, Angeline, Sherry, Felecia, Jasmine, Dorothy, Delores, Tanka, Rachel, Jimmie, JoAnna, Ella, Richarda, Amanda, Melanie, Yvette and Betty. They gave our Momma a wonderful new lease on life as she made new friends and gave everyone a smile. Thankful she got to share some of her love with the staff and residents there as they responded with their love and friendship. Our appreciation for Dr. Wen Liu, Missy, April, Sarah, Brandi and Spencer for all you have done for our Momma. And the staff at Life Care Pierremont for your excellent care.
