Effie Louise Williams was born September 19, 1943 in DeQuincy, LA. Her parents were James and Mattie Willis. She went to be with her Lord April 15, 2019 in Shreveport.

Mrs. Williams served 11 years in the USAF as a combat specialist.

Mrs. Williams is preceded in death by her husband, William and her parents, she is survived by her son, John Harris and wife Tracia; brother, James Willis and wife Lori; grandchildren, Cody Harris and Dustin Harris, Wendy Word and Theresa Chavez and husband Ricardo; nephews, Jim Willis and wife Crystal and Ricki Willis and wife Vikki; several great-grandchildren and many friends.

A memorial service honoring the life of Effie Louise Williams will be held Friday, April 19, 2019, 10:00 AM at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home, Shreveport, LA. Visitation with the family will be from 9 AM until service time.
