Elizabeth Janette Hoover

Elizabeth Janette Hoover, age 82, of Bossier City, Louisiana went home to be with the Lord on Monday, December 25, 2023. Elizabeth was born October 18, 1941 in Shreveport, Louisiana to Sterling and Flossie Ennis.

Elizabeth proudly served her country in the United States Navy stationed at Pensacola, Florida. She returned home to Shreveport, and then graduated from Northwestern State University of Nursing. She was a Registered Nurse for 43 years. Elizabeth was a devoted mother and mamaw as most knew her. She adored her grandkids, which each of them had stories of remembrance of her. She will be greatly missed and loved by her two daughters and son.

Elizabeth was preceded in death by her parents, Sterling Lee and Flossie B. Ennis.

Left to cherish her memory is her daughters, Jerri Lynn Giddens and Julie Marie Hall; son, Jeffrey Wayne Hoover; sister, Glenda Gail Britton; brother, Ronnie Lee Ennis (Terry); grandsons, Jeremy Eason, Brian Eason (Odessa), Stephen Hall, Joshua Hoover, and Joey Hoover; granddaughter, Summer Hall. She is also survived by ten great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.

A Graveside Service will be held on Tuesday, January 2, 2024 at 2:00 pm at Centuries Memorial Park, 8801 Mansfield Road, Shreveport, Louisiana 71108.
