Eula Collette Donaho

SHREVEPORT, LA - Celebration of Life services for Collette Donaho, 60, will be held at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, January 12, 2012, in Centuries Memorial Chapel, Shreveport, Louisiana, with Pastor Steve Hill of Grace Tabernacle, Shreveport, Louisiana, officiating. A private interment will take place following the service. The family will be receiving friends for visitation Thursday, January 12, 2012, for an hour before service time beginning at 12:00 p.m. in the Centuries chapel.

Collette Donaho was born June 22, 1951, in Natchitoches, Louisiana, to the late Hoyt V. Donaho, and Eula Vae Thornton Donaho and was called to her Heavenly home Tuesday, January, 10, 2012, in Shreveport, Louisiana. Collette was a member of Grace Tabernacle and enjoyed teaching Sunday school, where she delighted interacting with children. She shared such a passion for her Lord and would show this during her everyday walk through life with Christ at her side. Collette always enjoyed spending time with her family and held those memories close to heart. She enjoyed reading in her spare time. Collette will be remembered by those of us who knew her as a very delightful, kind hearted, generous, and self-giving person. Collette you will be cherished as you are missed!!!

Collette was preceded in death by her father. Left to cherish Collette's memory and tell her stories will be her beloved mother; along with numerous extended family members and many wonderful friends.

Honorary pallbearers will be Brandon Floyd, DeRon Floyd, Johnny Donaho, Billy Donaho, Chris Donaho, Royce Yates, William E. Owens, and members of her church family.

The family would like to express their deepest gratitude to the staff of Heritage Manor South for the care and compassion given to Collette during her time of need, with extended gratitude for the love and compassionate care devoted to her mother Eula Vae Donaho.
