Evelyn Delores Farley of Minden, Louisiana went home to be with the Lord, Friday, July 22, 2022 at the age of 89. She was born August 2, 1932 in Martin, Louisiana to William Wiley Farley and Mattie Zell Farley. She was a member of Bible Baptist Church. Evelyn worked for 22 years at Walmart as a greeter. She enjoyed crochet, embroidery and puzzles.
Left to cherish her memory are her sister, Catherine L Barker (Jim); daughter, Barbara D. Kearney (Morris); grandchildren, Haley J. Webster and William Webster (Christina); great grandchild, her little love, Gracelin Webster; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and her brothers, Wiley and William Devon Farley.
A visitation for Evelyn will be held Monday, July 25, 2022 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home, 8801 Mansfield Road, Shreveport, LA 71108, followed by a celebration of life at 1:00 PM. She will be laid to rest in Page Cemetery, Highway 153, Castor, Louisiana 71016.Serving as pallbearers are William Webster, Morris Kearney, Damon Kearney, James Kearney, Michael Sanders and Jeff Smart.
