Faye Ruth Davis Tucker

Shreveport, LA- Funeral services celebrating the life of Faye Ruth Tucker, 87, will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 16, 2016 in the chapel of Centuries Memorial Funeral Home. Officiating will be Bro. Wayne Fussell. Interment will follow in Centuries Memorial Park. Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. on Friday, July 15, 2016 at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home.

Loving wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend to many, Faye Ruth Tucker, passed peacefully in her home on July 12, 2016. She graced us with her loving spirit and her sense of humor for 87 years. Faye Ruth was born April 2, 1929 in Bula, TX. She lived most of her life in Shreveport, LA and was a faithful member of Midway Church of Christ for over 50 years. Faye lived her life by the word of the Lord and exemplified His life by her kind and loving actions to all she encountered. She graduated from Ouachita High School and worked for Monroe Drug Company before marrying her beloved husband and becoming a loving mother of three.

Faye had many loves on this earth including painting, gardening, and spending time with her precious grand children and great grand children.

Faye is preceeded in death by her husband, Herbert N. Tucker, parents William F. Davis & Alice Elmore Davis, & twelve siblings. She is survived by her three children, Rhonda Beaulieu and husband Kevin of Charlotte NC, Peggy Holloway and husband Ronnie of West Monroe LA, and Ben Tucker of Shreveport, LA. Grandchildren: Chris Beaulieu and Sarah Beaulieu, Jason Holloway and Jennifer Holloway Maggio, Karina Tucker, Karissa Tucker, Haley Tucker and 12 great grandchildren. The family would also like to thank Dr. Russell Tynes and his staff for many years of special care and her dear friend Denise Johnson for all her loving kindness through the years.
