SHREVEPORT, LA - Celebration of Life services for Flora Thogmartin, 93, will be held 2:00 pm, Monday, February 13, 2012, in the Blue Room of Centuries Memorial Funeral Home with Rev. Ron McLellan, of Gloster Baptist Church officiating. The family will be receiving guests for visitation Monday, February 13, 2012, from 1:00 pm until time of service at 2:00 pm.
Flora was born September 18, 1918, in Union Church, Mississippi to the late Delmar Roy and Lucy Lou Smith McKee and was called to her Heavenly home February 11, 2012, in Shreveport, Louisiana. She was originally from Wisner, Louisiana, and moved to the Shreveport area where she was a member of the Springs of Grace Baptist Church.
Flora was preceded by her 1st husband; Ralph Gordan Chapman, her 2nd husband; Gayle Averil Thogmartin, her parents, and several siblings. Left to cherish Flora's memory and tell her stories will be her three sons; Don Chapman and wife Jeaniece, Larry Chapman and wife Kaye, and Marty Averil Thogmartin, Two grandsons; Mike and Matt Chapman and numerous extended family members.
