Forrest Kent Jones passed away on October 21, 2020 at the age of 67, in Shreveport, Louisiana. He was born April 12, 1953 in Denver, Colorado. He worked as a copier technician at Konica Minolta for many years before retiring.
Forrest enjoyed riding his Harley, camping, floating the Buffalo River with his “Brothers and others”, hanging out with family and friends, and spending the last 31 years with the love of his life, who thought he was the greatest person on earth.
He had a sense of humor like no other and you couldn’t help laughing at his corny jokes. He was warm and kind and always tried to make everyone feel welcome.
Forrest is survived by his wife Lisa of Shreveport, his daughter, Courtney and her husband John; sister, Candace; two grandsons, Corbett and Elijah; several cousins, nieces and nephews; and his spoiled rotten dog, “Mia”.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Reba Jones; sister, Diane; and brothers, Dennis, Ronnie, and Walter Jr.
Visitation will take place on Saturday October 24, 2020 from 9:00 a.m. to 10:15 a.m., with a graveside service to follow at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home located at 8801 Mansfield Rd., Shreveport, 71108.
