Mrs. Naile was born on September 8, 1929, in Athens, LA to parents, Rubye Hood Blackwell and Lenton Blackwell. She passed away in the early morning hours of Friday, January 16, 2015, at the age of 85 years.
LaVonne epitimized sacrifice by providing for her children in the early 60's as a single parent. She was an exceptional woman, mother, friend, cousin, and a proud grandmother to her only granddaughter; whom she knew as her "shining star." She was a member of Baptist Tabernacle Church. In her pass time she enjoyed reading and listening to messages pertaining to the Lord, Jesus Christ. In her career, she retired as a Teacher's Aide with Caddo School Board. Prior to this she worked with the Credit Bureau of Greater Shreveport approximately 15 years.
Ms. Naile bealieved in her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She also believed in work, courage, service, and had a helpful nature. Above all, her independence was her trademark. As her health went down, she weathered this with pride, dignity, and strength while knowing in her heart she would be in heaven when her time on earth ended, just to begin another with her Savior. She was a woman of honor, respect, and her beliefs were unwavering.
For friends and family the verse Phillipians 4:8 would apply to her wishes for all . . ."whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are just and of good rapport, think on these things."
LaVonne is preceded in death by her parents Rubye and Lenton Blackwell and her sweet pet chow, Gizzy. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Tim Naile of Little Rock, AR, Pam Faith of Shreveport, LA and her one and only "shining star" granddaughter Candice Faith of Columbus, OH.
