Frank Crnkovic

Frank Crnkovic, born August 16, 1926, was a resident of Shreveport, LA. On March 2nd, 2012, at the age of 85 after a brief illness, Frank passed away peacefully at Willis Knighton South Hospital. He was retired from Kansas City Southern Railroad after 40 years of dedicated service.

Frank was one of ten children born in Zwolle, LA to the late Ed and Frazine Ebarb Crnkovic and was the beloved husband of Hellen (Lois) Paudert Crnkovic for over 62 years. Frank was preceded in death by siblings Steve, Joe, Johnny and Helen Byers. He will forever be remembered by his devoted siblings Pete, Mickey, Josephine Jones, Lois Sava and Donald; beloved children Duane Crnkovic, Elizabeth Ann Goelden and Marsha Everett; treasured grandchildren Frank Johnson, Rodney Crnkovic, Dara Martin and husband, Jeremy, Christina Copeland-Hofslund and husband, Adam, and Justin Goelden and wife, Rebeca; great grandchildren Krystal and Hailey Martin; along with countless other friends and family whom were blessed to know him.

Sir Knight Frank Crnkovic was a 4th Degree Knights of Columbus of Bishop Daniel Desmond Assembly. His family has been parishioners of Saint Mary of the Pines Catholic Church since 1973 where he was an active member in Saint Mary of the Pines Men’s Club.

Frank touched the lives of many people with his love and generosity. Friends and family are invited to attend visitation on Tuesday, March 6th from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home, 8801 Mansfield Road, Shreveport, LA 71118,(318) 686-4334.

Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, March 7th at 10:00 am at Saint Mary of the Pines Catholic Church at 1050 Bert Kouns Industrial Loop, Shreveport, LA 71118. The Crnkovic family expresses gratitude to our beloved family and friends that have been so supportive during this difficult time.
