

Dick was born on November 17, 1937 in Baskin, LA to the late Annie and Albert Flint. Dick had a passion for life and the outdoors and loved gardening, fishing and spending time with family and friends. He was a lifelong carpenter specializing in floor covering and enjoyed building or fixing just about anything. He loved his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church for over 50 years.
Funeral services, led by Brother Earnie Fegley of Calvary Baptist Church, will be held at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home, Shreveport on Tuesday, February 17 at 2:00 PM. Interment will follow at Centuries Memorial Park. Visitation will be held on Monday, February 16 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
Pallbearers/Honorary Pallbearers will be Mr. Raymond Morris, Mr. Benny Walker, Mr. Kenneth Behan, Mr. Sherman Clark, Mr. Jimmy Ray Morgan, Mr. Everett Dryden, Mr. Jerry Parks, Mr. Brad Wren, and Mr. Stephen Searcy.
Dick was preceded in death by his son Stuart R. Flint and brother Noble R. Flint and is survived and deeply missed by his wife of 52 years Carolyn Flint; son Gregory H. Flint, son Colby M. Flint, daughter-in-law Clarice H. Flint, daughter-in-law Kandee K. Flint, grandchildren Hayden J. Flint, Kelley Ann Flint, Alana A. Flint, and Mariah N. Flint; sisters Mary Flint and Carolyn Ann Flint, and a wonderful group of nieces and nephews.
