Our hearts hurt missing Gordan "Bubba" Russell, my uncle who had a smile that could light up a room.

We weep, but not as those who have no hope, for we, like Gordan, have a SURE AND CERTAIN HOPE. We know this is see you later, not farewell. We know Gordan is with his dad, mom, and other family in the presence of the Father. We know that there is joy there being with Christ.

I bet Gordan, Darryl, and papaw have been fishing and are now eating a mess of catfish. We love y'all, and we'll be along directly.

I am so sorry about the loss of your sweet father Suzanne. Although I never met him, it was obvious to me through your posts that he was a wonderful man and father, and that he most certainly passed on his Christian principles to his amazing daughter! I will be keeping you and your family in my prayers!
Much love

We are so very sorry for your loss. We are so thankful for the kindness, wisdom and understanding you both showed to us during Divorce Care many years ago. God truly used you in a way that I can’t explain. Being able to see you both as testimonies of healing and recovery changed my life and let me see that God still had a plan for me. We are praying for you and look forward to one day being able to tell Gordon in person what his life has meant to us.
