Gregory was born on March 4, 1951, in Shreveport, LA and passed away on Sunday, September 18, 2011, in Alexandria, LA.
He was preceded in death by his father, Mr. Herman Loyd Hawkins. Left to cherish Gregory's memory are his mother, Mrs. Margell Morgan Hawkins; sister, Kim Shackelford and husband, Jeremy; nieces, Donna George, Morgan Robichaux, and Meagan Shackelford; nephew, Micah Shackelford; and numerous extended family.
