There are no words that can truly ease the pain of losing someone you love. All we can do is hold on to the memories, the laughter, the stories, and the love he shared with so many throughout his life.
Our hearts especially go out to his sons, Shane, Brad, and Michael Huff; his daughter, Tiffany Huff; all his precious grandchildren, Alexis, Madisyn, Kylee, and Gavin; and great grandchildren Evelyn, Callum, and Shia.
No matter how old we are, losing a father leaves a place in our hearts that can never be filled.
We are also lifting up his sisters, David Ann Davis, and Joy Curtis; and his brother, Troy Huff. Losing a brother is a pain no family is ever prepared for. We pray God wraps each of you in his loving arms, gives you strength for the difficult days ahead, and fills your hearts with comfort and peace.
Please keep Greg’s entire family and all who loved him in your prayers as they walk through this heartbreaking time. Life is precious and can change in an instant. Hug your family a little tighter, tell the people you love how much they mean to you, and never take a single day for granted.
Greg graduated from Huntington high school in 1976. He dedicated many years of his life to working at General Motors until his retirement. He was proud of the work he did, and that dedication was just one of the many qualities that defined the man he was.
We know you were greeted at the gates of heaven by your precious daughter, Kori Dinkins, that you have missed so much and by your sweet precious mother Mary Cordova Huff; your brothers Chris, and Mike Huff; and grandson Lil Shane.
The family would also like to recognize and thank Greg’s first wife, Linda Murphy. Even though they were divorced, when Greg needed someone the most, Linda stepped in with a kind and loving heart to help care for him for the last several months. That compassion, selflessness, and love did not go unnoticed, and we believe she deserves to be acknowledged and thanked for everything she did. We are truly grateful for the care she showed Greg during such an important time in his life.
And for everyone who knew Greg, you know how much he loved his Harley and the freedom of the open road. We like to think that he’s now riding those heavenly highways with the wind at his back, free from pain and at peace. Ride high, Greg. You will be deeply missed, but you will never be forgotten. May you rest peacefully until we meet again.
