Helen Hilbert

Helen worked for the Telephone Company in Shreveport and was a Bookkeeper for Highland Lumber Company. She was the Manager/ Bookkeeper for a Lumber Company formed by several prominent contractors in the Shreveport - Bossier area as well.

Helen was predeceased in death by her parents, Aline Miller Hilbert and Edward J. Hilbert, Sr.; brother, Edward J. Hilbert, Jr.; brother-in-law, Henry “Skip” Diersing; nephew, Robert Diersing and niece Cindy Britt. She is survived by her sister, Shirley Diersing; sister-in-law, Nancy Hilbert; nieces, Kathy Haydon (Steve), Susie Harris (Danny), Pam Diersing, and Debbie Van Meter; nephew, Steve Hilbert (Nina); numerous great and great-great nieces and nephews. She is also survived by many close friends whose friendship was very meaningful to her, especially Barbara and Kenneth Norris and Tanya and Bryant Williams.

Special Thanks goes to the caregivers Diane Mock, Melissa Kuehnemund, Shirley Murphy and Barbara Jackson for the loving care they gave to Helen. Thanks to Kathleen West whose concern for Helen was also greatly appreciated. We also want to thank the people of St. Joseph’s Hospice; they gave great comfort and care to Helen and her loved ones.

A burial will be held at Crow Cemetery in Henderson, Texas.
