Helen Marie Largent Grillette Horn

Shreveport, La- Celebration of Life services for Helen Marie Largent Horn, 80, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 13, 2011 at Centuries Memorial Chapel with Pastor Andy Harris and Pastor Carlton Gilmer of Central Assembly officiating. Interment will follow at Centuries Memorial Park. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Monday, December 12, 2011 at Centuries.

Mrs. Horn was born on January 26, 1931 and passed away on December 10, 2011. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

She is preceded in death by her parents; John Delaney Grillette and Viola Brooks Grillette, her first husband; Gene Earlton Largent, her late husband Huey P. Horn Sr., and her brother; Clarence Grillette.

She is survived by her daughter; Jeanette Largent Glenn and husband; John L. Glenn of Shreveport, LA., and one sister; Mary Jo Cole, of Abilene, TX; grandson, Jason Earlton Stowell and wife Jessica Sartori Stowell, and great granddaughters; Sophia Sartori Stowell and Helen Kate Stowell of Beaumont, TX., granddaughter; Allie Marie Stowell McLemore and husband Phillip Mitchell McLemore, and grandson; Andrew David of Woodstock, GA., granddaughter; Mary-Helen Stowell Marlowe and husband Jared Barnard Marlowe of Bossier City, LA., and grandson; Gene Largent Glenn of Alva OK., step grandson; Jeffery Craig Glenn and wife Jennifer Glenn, and step great grandchildren; Miller Loy Glenn, Addison Leigh Glenn and Tanner Craig Glenn of Shreveport, LA., and step grandson; Justin Wayne Glenn, and step great grandson; Logan Wayne Glenn of Sibley, LA.

Honoring Mrs. Horn as pallbearers will be John Cole, Coy Cole, Randy Durbin, Donnie McInnis, Andre Kurkiewicz and Sam Kurkiewicz.
