Mrs. Ida Nell Cassidy Butler

Mrs. Ida Nell Cassidy Butler, age 86, of Shreveport, Louisiana passed away on Monday, August 1, 2022. Nell was born September 1, 1935 in Hope, Arkansas. She is preceded in death by her father, Nathan Cassidy; mother, Rosalee Cassidy; sister, Doris Williams all of Hope, Arkansas; her husband, Ron Butler of Shreveport.

She is survived by her daughter, Kay Stensgard and her husband, Craig Stensgard, and three granddaughters Ashley Stensgard; Heather Stein, husband, Grant Stein, and great grandson, Henry Stein; and Kelly Stensgard all of Denton, Texas; sons David Butler, Mike Butler, and Steve Butler and his wife, Andy Butler, and two step grandsons Chris Breaux and Eddie Breaux and his wife Monica Breaux, and two step great grandsons Tommy Breaux and Lucas Trekell, all of Shreveport.

A Celebration of Life and visitation will be held at 3pm on Saturday, October 15, at Centuries Memorial in Shreveport, Louisiana.
