Jacqueline was born December 26, 1934, to Gaylon Louise Daigle, Sr., and Lurline Raborn Daigle in Lake Charles, Louisiana.
Jacqueline, known as Jackie to her friends, was a beloved wife, mother, sister, granny, and friend. She spent most of her life in Bossier City graduating with honors from Bossier High School in 1952 where she was a proud Bearkat cheerleader, class favorite, football sweetheart for the homecoming court, and selected as best dressed. She was an excellent student and spoke at her graduation on “The Power of Being Happy.” She began her career in bookkeeping at Beasley-Keith Insurance in Bossier City and worked at Barksdale Federal Credit Union from which she retired in 1990. She and her husband are members of the First Baptist Church, Benton, Louisiana.
A gifted pianist, Jacqueline continued her love for the piano and classical music throughout her life. She was a talented artist and in her younger years enjoyed drawing portraits of family and friends. An avid reader, she looked forward to her monthly book club meetings and discussions. A gifted and creative seamstress, she found immense pleasure in sewing fashions for herself, her daughters, and family. She always loved flowers and took pride in her beautiful yard and azaleas. Until becoming ill, she was an avid shopper and bargain hunter.
