Stonewall, LA Jane Mothershed Culver was born May 4, 1932 in Paltaka, FL. Her parents were Margaret Gibson and Burns Martin Mothershed. She married Charles M. Culver February 3, 1952 and traveled with him throughout his military career. Several locations were in Texas and Florida. They relocated to Shreveport in 2000 to be near their daughter.
Mrs. Culver is preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband, Charles M. Culver; her daughter, Margaret Rena Douglas and husband Scott; grandsons, Jason Scott Douglas, Jeremy Douglas and Nathan Brady Douglas; a brother, Ralph Andrew Mothershed and wife Linda; and a host of other relatives and friends.
A funeral service will be held Friday, May16, 2014, 2:00 PM at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home, Shreveport, LA. Officiating will be Rev. David Radford. Interment will follow in Centuries Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be Thursday, May 15, 2014 from 5 to 7 PM at the funeral home.
