Jane Walters Thomas

Jane Walters Thomas was born on January 10, 1949 and her Lord and Savior called her home on Friday, January 26, 2018. A celebration of life will be held at Centuries Memorial on Tuesday, January 30, 2018 at 10:30 a.m.. Officiating will be Pastor Dennis Sims of Ellerbe Road Baptist Church. Visitation with the family will be from 5:30 pm – 7:30 pm on Monday, January 29, 2018 at Centuries Memorial. Pallbearers are Joe Carroll, Tim Nielsen, Brad Thomas, Earnie Legg, Troy Mallett and Floyd Mallett, Jr.

Jane graduated from North Caddo High School in 1967. She was married to her husband of 46 years, James H. Thomas. She was a certified podiatry assistant for twenty years and managed River Oaks Apartments for twenty-three years.

Preceding her in death are her parents, Clyde and Ina Walters; maternal grandmother, Nina Washington; birth mother, Mary Mallett and sister, Norma Mallett. She is survived by her husband, James H. Thomas; son, Mark C. Thomas and wife Wendy; daughter, Kelly Thomas Babin and husband James, as well as grandchildren, Mary Elizabeth, Audrey Jane and James (Dru) Warren Babin.

Jane fought a long, hard battle with ureteral cancer. We would like to thank the many friends and family that have helped and supported us through this difficult time.
