Janet loved Country & Western music and, once upon a time, taught line dancing in her spare time. She and Steve enjoyed working on their property at Cross Lake. Janet loved to collect ducks – especially wooden ones. She has an amazing collection! She also loved to travel. She and Steve were able to enjoy several wonderful trips, most recently to Hawaii before she began her battle with cancer.
The family would like to thank LSU Medical Center and Feist-Weiller Cancer Center for the excellent care Janet received during her treatments. They would also like to thank Amie Hospice for their assistance over the last few days, and the employees of Pelican Gaming for the thoughtful benefit they arranged during Janet’s absence from work.
Janet was an avid supporter of St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital. Should friends desire, contributions may be made at https://www.stjude.org/give.html.
