Jeff Scriber passed away on September 19, 2026, in San Antonio, Texas. Born April 7, 1971, in Shreveport, Louisiana, Jeff lived with steady purpose and quiet strength—someone who worked hard, cared deeply, and gave of himself with a generosity that was felt more than it was ever announced. In the ways that mattered most, he was a good man with a heart of gold.
Jeff began his career at Lucent Technologies in Shreveport, Louisiana, before moving to San Antonio, Texas, where he worked as a logistics specialist at P&W Sales in the oil field. Wherever he went, he brought a dependable work ethic and a willingness to do what needed to be done—traits that earned respect and trust from those around him.
While living in San Antonio, Texas, Jeff met and married the love of his life, Jennifer McDonald. Together, they created a wonderful life, and she stood by him and took amazing care of him each and every day. Jeff’s devotion to family was matched by the steady compassion he showed in everyday moments—through his presence, his loyalty, and the sincere care he extended to the people he loved.
Jeff loved the outdoors and carried a spirit of adventure into the things that brought him peace and joy. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, loved a good game of golf, and had a special fondness for animals—an affection that reflected the gentleness at the center of who he was.
Jeff is survived by his wife, Jennifer Scriber; parents, Don and Suzanne Scriber; his sister, Allison Scriber; his son, Taylor Scriber; his stepdaughter, Sheyanne Neuenschwander (Aaron); his stepson, Tyler Burks (Jasmine); his grandchildren, Annalise, Rowan, Anya and Raelynn-Ann; his nephew, Elijah; his niece, Isabellah; and his nephew, Evan.
