Jeff was born on August 19, 1960 in Shreveport, LA to James Morris and Betty Carlisle. Jeff is survived by his wife of 36 years, Rene’ Morris; daughter, Ashley and husband Michael Ashby of Shreveport; daughter, Aleesa and husband Cody Ellison of Winnsboro, TX; mother, Betty Carlisle; brother, Mike and wife Pam Morris. He also leaves behind five grandchildren, Adalyn Ellison, Cage Beck, Cooper Ashby, Carter Ashby, and Lennox Ellison. Jeff is preceded in death by his father, James Morris and step-father, Grover Carlisle.
Jeff was an avid deer hunter and loved the outdoors. His proudest accomplishment was being a pawpaw to his grandchildren. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Dr. Randy Del Mundo and the Willis-Knighton Pierremont 4th floor nursing staff.
Serving as Pallbearers will be Mark Mullins, Zan Mullins, Cody Ellison, Michael Ashby, David Ashby, and Peyton Scroggins.
