Jesse James Anderson

Funeral services celebrating the life of Jesse James Anderson 65, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 7, 2016, in the chapel of Centuries Memorial Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Centuries Memorial Park. Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 6, 2016 at the funeral home.

Jesse was born on December 26, 1950 in Lake Charles, Louisiana and passed away on January 2, 2016 in Keithville, Louisiana. He graduated with a B.S. Degree in 1971 and with a Master of Education Degree in 1973 from Northwestern State University in Natchitoches, Louisiana. He was an Independent Petroleum Landman for more than 40 years.

Jesse was preceded in death by his parents, Jodie and Girthie Ree Anderson. Left to cherish beautiful memories of Jesse is his wife, Joan Marie Barron Anderson; son, Micah James Anderson of New Orleans; and Cabrina Rochelle Anderson Glidewell, of Keithville, Louisiana; his sister, Sandra Jo Corley Dilbeck, wife of Carl Dilbeck of Florien, Louisiana; and grandchildren: Jullian Renard Glidewell, Jayde Marie Glidewell, Daniel James Glidewell and Allyssa Rochelle Glidewell all of Keithville, Louisiana; with numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Jesse fought a long hard battle with cancer and his family would like to express their heartfelt appreciation to the nurses and staff at LifeCare Hospital of Shreveport, Louisiana – Main Facility on Linwood Avenue and also to Harmony Life Hospice, Shreveport, Louisiana.
