John was a force of nature. He rarely rested, he did everything big, and he loved his family and his friends with every ounce of his spirit. The stories of John’s generosity, his practical jokes, and his eccentricities fill volumes in the hearts of those that know and love him.
John was a protector. He had a heart for “underdogs,” and always noticed the needs of people around him and took action to help. His resources, his love, and his time were always free and easily given. He would often ask people, “Do you know what I love about you?” The answer for decades was always “everything.”
John is with Jesus Christ his Lord and Savior in heaven. He loved to be outside, and that is often where he felt the presence of God. He spent his time in retirement tirelessly building a sanctuary on his property in Keithville to share with his family and friends. He knew that his Father in heaven was doing the same for him.
