Mr. John Thomas Watson, Sr.

Greenwood, LA- Funeral services celebrating the life of John Thomas Watson, Sr., 88, will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, November 22, 2016 in the chapel of Centuries Memorial Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Centuries Memorial Park. Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. on Monday, November 21, 2016 at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home.

John was born September 17, 1928, in Dyersburg, TN and passed away peacefully on November 19, 2016 in Shreveport, LA surrounded by his loving family.

Mr. Watson was preceded in death by his parents, Doc and Mary Watson; one son, John Thomas "Tommy" Watson, Jr. and one brother, Billy Watson.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Janet; sons, Jerry Watson and Randy Watson and wife Corinda; daughter, Donna Anderson and husband William; one brother, Richard Watson and wife Sue; grandchildren, Jeremy Watson and wife Melissa, Christina Albritton and husband Cody, Zachary Watson, Jake Anderson, Shellby Anderson, Josh Anderson and Peighton Watson; along with many great grandchildren.

Honoring John as pallbearers will be: Jerry Watson, Randy Watson, William Anderson, Jeremy Watson and Ricky Davis.

The family would like to say a special thanks to the staff at Christus Highland Hospital and Grace Home for all the care shown to Mr. Watson.
