Kenneth Lynn Johnson, age 58, of Shreveport, Louisiana, passed away on October 15, 2026, at Highland Place. He was born on April 18, 1968, in Shreveport, Louisiana, to the late Emma B. Mclntyre and the late Freddie B. Johnson, Sr.
Kenneth was a kind, loving, and gentle man who brought joy to everyone who knew him. He had a great sense of humor and could always make people smile. He treasured the time spent with his family and the many friends he made along the way, finding happiness in the simple things in life - good food, good company, and time with the people he loved.
He touched so many lives with his warm spirit, caring heart, and generosity. Kenneth will be remembered for the love he gave so freely and the joy he brought to every gathering. His presence will be deeply missed by his family and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Kenneth is preceded in death by his parents; his step father, the late Earnest McIntyre; his brothers, James L. Ballard, Arthur Lee Ballard, Ronald Johnson, Freddie B. Johnson, Jr., and Marvin Johnson.
He is survived by his sister, Paulette Johnson; his is brother, Johnny R. Ballard; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family, and friends who became family.
Though he is no longer with us, Kenneth's love, laughter, and memory will forever remain in our hearts.
Honorary pallbearers are Johnny R. Ballard, Deundre Johnson, Larry McFann, Michael McFann, Melvin Thompkins, and Jundre Johnson.
