Kenneth attended school at Southwood High School in Shreveport, Louisiana Class of 81'. Knowing Kenneth was to love him. Our dad lived a life full of adventure and passion. A true outdoorsman at heart, he found joy in fishing, hunting, camping and golfing. His enthusiasm for college football was undeniable, however his greatest love was his family, especially his kids who he cherished deeply. Dad embodied the values of his faith, leading a life with integrity, honor, and a commitment to set an example to others. Known for his quick-witted humor, he was always the life of the party spreading laughter wherever he went. His work ethic showed through his many careers starting in law enforcement and concluding with his true passion of exploring the country as an over the road driver. He will be missed by many, but his legacy will live on through great stories and cherished memories.
Kenneth was preceded in death by his father, Ervin Odom, Jr. and both Maternal/Paternal sets of grandparents.
Left to cherish his memory is his mother, Beverly Smith (Jerry); son, Kristopher Odom (Kimberly); daughters, Crystal Mottet (John) and Christina Odom; grandchildren, Payten Odom, Hayden, Austin, and Kyleigh Mottet and Grand dogs "Moose" and "Tillie"; brothers, Michael Odom (Janice), Bill Smith, Randy Smith, and Butch Smith; sisters, Darlene Burrow (Ernie), Lori Ashcraft (Harold), and Laura Wallace (Richard).
