Kenneth “Clint” Wilson, 31, passed away on March 9, 2026. Born in Shreveport, Louisiana, on March 28, 1994, he will be remembered as an adventurous, hard-working, humorous, thoughtful, kind-hearted man who brought steady strength and laughter to those around him.
Clint was an outdoorsman from the start. In high school, he was active on the football and wrestling teams, carrying forward the discipline and determination that would continue to shape his life.
After high school, Clint began working at Metro Aviation. He later joined the United States Marines, serving four years and attaining the rank of Corporal. Following his military service, he worked at the Frac Sand Plant—a place he dearly loved—where he started from the bottom and worked his way up to Production Superintendent, a reflection of his work ethic and perseverance.
Clint loved spending time with his family and significant other, Amanda, and with his dogs, whom he considered his children. He found happiness in everyday moments—morning walks by the lake with Amanda and the dogs, time outdoors, and the comfort of being with those he loved.
An avid outdoorsman, Clint truly enjoyed fishing, trapping, and hunting. He also enjoyed reading—everything—and he liked to cook. When he was young, he liked riding his dirt bike, and that same spirited energy stayed with him throughout his life.
Known for being fun-loving and once voted class clown, Clint was always joking around and could bring joy to any room. At the same time, he was dependable, willing to help, and the kind of person others could count on without hesitation. His legacy is one of loyalty, laughter, and a heart that made space for others.
Clint is preceded in death by his grandfather, John Swearengin and uncle, Mike Swearengin.
He is survived by his Momma and Daddy, Ken and Misty Wilson; sister, Megan Phelps and husband Tre; brother Noah Wilson; grandparents, Martha Swearengin, and Pete and Janet Wilson; significant other, Amanda Mitchell; nephews, Stetson and Winston Phelps and Jason, Jameson and Wylie McCuen; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held at Hill Crest Blanchard Chapel, 356 Warriner Ave., on Tuesday, March 17, 2026, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. A Celebration of Life will began at 11:00 am. Interment will follow at Memorial Gardens North Cemetery in Blanchard.
Pallbearers will be Tre Phelps, Jacob McCuen, Austin Lawrence, Jake Williams, Daulton Hall and Matt George. Honorary pallbearers are Samuel French, Brad Kent and Clay Williams.
