Kimberly was a devoted wife, loving mother and grandmother, and a cherished friend to many. She worked as a Medical Assistant and poured her compassion and care into every life she touched through her profession.
Kimberly had a joyful spirit that lit up every room. Her radiant smile and kind heart were constants in the lives of those who knew her. Much like the butterflies she loved, Kimberly moved through life with grace, bringing color and light to all she touched. Their delicate beauty mirrored the gentleness of her spirit.
She is survived by her husband, Craig Maxwell; her father, Bernest Garza; her siblings, Crystal Hood (Chris) and Matt Garza; her children, Christopher Coleman (Rayce Matthews), Isabella Joseph, and Andrew Taylor; her beloved granddaughter, Alana Matthews; her mother in law Kathy Reach; and her uncle Billy Curtis (Susan).
Kimberly was preceded in death by her mother, Ruth Anna Grubbs; her grandmother, Essie Grubbs; her step-father, Craig Reach; her uncle, Tommy Curtis; and her grandparents, Billy and Georgia Curtis.
A celebration of Kimberly's life will be held on Friday, August 8, 2025, at 6:00 PM at Sycamore Life Ministries and Outreach, 3359 Meriwether Rd, Shreveport, LA 71108.
