Larry Glen Free, Sr. was born August 23, 1944, in Beaumont, TX , his parents were Marie Burnett Free and Larry Wilford Free. He went to be with his Lord December 5th at his home. Mr. Free owned Free’s Automotive in Blanchard for over 50 years, he was a Master Mechanic and enjoyed fishing, hunting, playing guitars with family and friends, and four wheel drive mud bogging.
Mr. Free was preceded in death by his wife, Roslyn Maxwell Free, his parents, Marie and Larry Free, sisters, Jean Free Good and Helen Free Moore, nephew, Terry Sanders and sister-in-law, Molly Free Brown.
He is survived by his sons, Larry Free, Jr. and Billy Free; sister, Mary Free Nelson; brother, Boe Free; daughter-in-laws, Sherry Free and Denise Free; four grandchildren, Bill Free, Jr., Brett Free, Mikaela Free and Hannah Free; great-granddaughter, Lilly Free; granddaughter in law, Jessica Free; numerous nieces and nephews; and many friends.
A service celebrating the life of Larry Glen Free, Sr. will be held at the Pavilion in Centuries Memorial Park, Shreveport, LA at 2:00 PM on Tuesday December 15, 2020. Officiating will be Bro. James Nelson. Visitation with the family will be Monday, December 14th from 5 PM until 7 PM at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Bill Free, Greg Soloman, Spencer Soloman, Steve Sanders, and Colton Sanders.
