Mrs. Linda Grace Doles Armstrong

Shreveport, LA- Linda Grace Doles Armstrong passed away on the morning of Saturday, September 28, 2013 in Shreveport, LA. Funeral services celebrating the life of Linda, 66, will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 1, 2013 at Cross Pointe Baptist Church in Shreveport, LA. Interment will follow in Centuries Memorial Park. Officiating will be Bro. Ron Parker. Visitation will be held on Monday, September 30, 2013 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home. Linda was born on October 20, 1946 in Shreveport, LA. She was a very loving and devoted mother, grandmother and neighbor. Mrs. Armstrong worked at Bell South for 30 years until her retirement in 1997. Linda enjoyed cross-stitching and gardening. Mrs. Armstrong was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Lee and Laura Grace Doles and the father of her children, Jerry Don Glisson. Left to cherish beautiful memories of Linda is her daughter, Shannon Glisson Wolfe; son, Blake Glisson and wife Kelly; grandchildren, Caitlin and Devon Goughnour, as well as Cameron, Connor and Carter Glisson; one brother and loving stepfather to her children, Max Armstrong. Mrs. Armstrong is also survived by her loving and faithful companions, Bella and Lily. Honoring Mrs. Armstrong as pallbearers will be: Blake Glisson, Robert Doles, Bryan Doles, Shane Woodward, Rogers Hampton and Todd Klee.
