Louise Haskins Bennett

Louise was known for her strong will and determination. She also had a love for Coca Cola. She found joy in her great grandchildren and her beloved dog Ziggy. She enjoyed cooking, traveling, dancing, and LSU tailgating.

Her favorite spot to spend time was on her patio caring for her flowers and bird watching.

She is survived by her daughters, Julie Bass (Tommy) and Melissa Haskins (Mike Malone); step children, Kim Guillot, Ronald Bennett, and Leslie Rose; grandchildren Brandon Redwine, Bart Redwine, Tiffany Tape, and Jennifer Lingle; and six great-grandchildren. Louise was preceded in death by her husband Ronnie Bennett, her parents Jim and Betty Waters, her adopted mother Laura Waters, and her best friend Betty Fischer.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Autism Speaks.

A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
