Lula Mae Ebarb Procell, 78, was born in Ebarb, LA on October 22, 1939 and peacefully passed away on Friday, October 12, 2018 at Aime Hospice Care in Shreveport, LA. She was a long time resident of Shreveport, LA.
She was a devoted loving wife of 42 years to the late Charles P. Procell and mother to Marlene A. Procell and the late Linda A. Procell and a Super “MoMo” to her granddaughter Michelle C. Smith.
She is survived by her daughter Marlene A. Procell and her granddaughter Michelle C. Smith both of Shreveport, LA. Her sisters Margie Henderson and Mary Sepulvado both of Zwolle, LA. One brother in law Joseph Virgil Procell of Alaska. Host of nieces, nephews, and close friends.
Lula was preceded in death by her parents, Cleve and Emma Lee Sepulvado Ebarb of Zwolle, LA; husband Charles P. Procell; daughter Linda A. Procell; sisters, Grace Ferrage of New Orleans, LA, Verda Ebarb of New Orleans, LA, and Reeda Malmay of Zwolle, LA.
Visitation will be held at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home in Shreveport, LA, on Friday, October, 19, from 6 to 8pm. Services will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father Richard Norsworthy officiating, on Saturday, October 20, 2018, at 10am with interment following at St. Joseph Catholic Church Cemetery in Zwolle, LA.
Her family would like to take this opportunity to express our heartfelt “Thanks” to the doctors and ICU nurses at Willis-Knighton Pierremont in Shreveport, LA, and the nurses at Aime Hospice Care. Thank you for being her angels for her last few weeks with us on this earth. She will live on in our heart and memory forever.
