I have very fond memories of Mac.  He was one of the reasons I became a pharmacist.  He gave me summer employment when I was in pharmacy school, and I worked for him a short time after I graduated before going back to graduate school.  He was a fair and honest businessman, and a great role model.  He was always professional, and I learned a lot from him.  He helped many people and touched many lives.  Larry Robinson

I remember Mr. Mckellar from years ago when he owned the sunset acres drug store..he was such a nice man, and I am saddened to hear of his passing..condolences to his family..

I have known Mr. McKellar for most of my life. He was a friend to all his customers at Sunset Drug for many years. My mother worked for him from the beginning until the end. They called her Midge. If one of my kids was sick he would tell me to bring them up there and he would give me the medicine that they needed. He knew I did not have insurance. He was just that kind of a man. He helped so many people in need, to many to count. He was a very gentle man with a big heart. I will always remember Mr. Mac with fond memories. Now he is with his beloved wife. My sympathy to all of his family for he was truly a great man.

On behalf of Geraldine Teague, Mr. Mac's longtime friend, I want to extend my condolences to the family.  Maleda, I want you to know how much I appreciate the friendship your Dad gave to Geraldine before she became sick in 2008 and had to move to a care facility.  They ate many lunches at J.R.s and he took her on drives to give her a pleasant change of scenery.  She treasured the times they spent together.  

He was a wonderful man and lived a long rich life.

The Final Salute

“Brothers in Arms”, Military men and women down through the centuries, have traditionally exchanged “Hand Salutes” as a sign of recognition and as a way to render courtesy and respect one to another. 

This “Hand Salute” is the last that we shall render to Malcolm Allen McKeller  our “Brother-in-Arms”.   To his family it symbolizes the love and respect that we have for Malcolm.   And to Malcolm it is rendered as a symbol of honor and gratitude to thank him for the devoted and selfless service he rendered to his country during WW-II while serving in the U.S. Army.  Malcolm, we commend you for your honorable service.  You are a true patriot, who served with honor and distinction.  You upheld the finest qualities of an American patriot warrior: courage, commitment, generosity, sacrifice, love and devotion to family and country.  We bid you a sad farewell.  You will be dearly missed from among our ranks.  Be at Ease.  Rest in Peace.
