She was born in El Dorado, Arkansas. Her parents were Mrs. Lorraine Watson Crowe, and Mr. Maurice Hall.
Jean was a very creative person. She owned a print shop at one point in her life and aspired to be a pilot.She was passionate about painting and antiques. She loved her yard at the camp, planting flowers, feeding the birds and she loved her dogs.
Jean was married to Eldon Wilfred Palmer for 66 years and he proceeded her in death in 2013. They had two boys, Eldon Mike Palmer (Shreveport) and Thomas Edward Palmer who proceeded her in death in 2014. She also lost her daughter-in-law, Barbara Palmer in 2022.
Jean was very close to her cousins, and leaves a number of nieces and nephews and friends who loved her dearly.
They will be a small, graveside service in Poplar Bluff, Missouri at some future date.
