Services to celebrate the life of Mrs. Marilyn Hatcher, 74, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, May 19, 2011, at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home with Rev. Billy Pierce officiating. Interment will follow in Centuries Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Wednesday evening between the hours of 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Marilyn was born in Pine Bluff, AR to parents John and Mae VanSchaick and passed away on May 15th following a brief illness. She was a long time resident of Shreveport and served as Secretary/Treasurer of Southwest Sales for 35 years. Marilyn will be remembered for her service at Lakeshore Baptist Church as Sunday School Teacher and Children’s Choir Director. She also enjoyed being involved in her daughters’ swim team by timing events and cheering on their teammates.

Marilyn is survived by her husband of twelve years, Mr. Jack Hatcher; daughters, Lynnie Alfred Terry and husband, Dennis of Houston, TX and their children, Dustin and Tyler; Brenda Antee Viselli and husband, Brian of Lexington, KY and her children, Monica Auschwitz and husband, Tyler; Dianna Antee and Kendall Antee; and great-grandchildren, Caleb and Kennedy Auschwitz.
