Marsha was born May 20, 1946 in Shreveport, Louisiana. She graduated from Woodlawn High School in 1964. She attended VO-Tech. Marsha worked for 30years at Western Electric and ATT Plant. She worker in the nursery at Summer Grove Baptist Church for many years. She was a member of the Eta Chi Sorority and served as president from 1989 to 1991.
Marsha was a selfless person, she loved and helped everyone. She gave money to her brother, Adam from the time he retired from the Navy until his untimely death. She helped take care of her parents until their deaths, and helped take care of her brother joe until Parkinson's Disease disabled her. She enjoyed reading, gardening, cooking, and visiting with her friends and family. She also loved all kinds of movies, music, and wrestling.
Marsha is survived by son Jeffrey Desmond Lambing; brother Arthur J. Cox Jr., brother David L. Cox (Mary), sister Barbara Boulanger and sister Anita Steward (James); family dog Peanut.
Marsha was preceded in death by mother Bonnie Doris Akes Cox; brother Adam D. Cox; . Arthur J. Cox Sr., and nephew Massimo Cox.
Marsha was also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, and too many well loved friends.
A memorial service for Marsha will be held Thursday, October 29, 2020 in the Chapel at11:00 a.m. at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home, 8801 Mansfield Rd, Shreveport, Louisiana 71108.
In lieu of flowers, Marsha asked that donations be send to her son Jeffrey to help with her expenses.
The family would like to thank the staff at Willis Knighton South, the Bradford Nursing Home, the Guest House, and Schumpert Hospice for their support and compassion during this difficult time.
