A lifelong resident of Shreveport, Mary worked for many years as a beautician, where she shared her gift for making others feel beautiful inside and out. She was also deeply involved in her community, proudly serving as Deputy Grand Regent with the Shreveport Moose Lodge 2239.
Mary had a true talent for all things creative—she loved doing hair, baking, sewing, crafting, and cooking meals that brought loved ones together. Her home was a welcoming haven, not just for family but for the many neighborhood “bonus kids” who came to know her love, humor, and legendary Uno and dart games.
She loved traveling with her beloved husband, Tommy, and found her greatest joy in being a grandmother and great-grandmother. Her love for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren knew no bounds.
Mary is survived by her son Philip Anderson (Lisa) and daughter Trishia Anderson Miller (Mark); her brother J.P. Wall; her grandchildren Trace and family, Shelby and family, George and family, Toni and family, Colton and family, Sydney and family, Chance Anderson, Christina and family, and Misty and family. She also leaves behind 13 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Tommy Joe Anderson Sr.; her son, Tommy Joe Anderson Jr. (T.J.); her parents, Eolden and Marie Wall; and her brother, Darrell Lee Wall.
