I remember this smiling face always in the office to greet me , or to call my grandma
To check me out . I was there from 91-96 she was a peach. I wish I would have known in 2015 I would have paid my respects

Lou was the back bone of the school.She ran a well oiled machine for many years.She will be missed by all.

Lou loved Summerfield and she loved her family.  She was always at work and always worried about kids and grandkids.  She was an integral part of establishing the history and tradition that is Summerfield.  She touched the lives of many children, teachers and administrators.  She was a blessing to me and helped me through many difficulties.  I loved seeing her pull up in car drop off in a mustang, to bring Addison to school!  She laughed and loved it as well!! I loved her and will miss her.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. Skipper, I am so sorry to hear about your Mom.

Mrs Hayes, you will be missed. Thank you for all those times you checked me out of school. Even though I never attended nor worked at Summerfield, I considered you and Mrs. Kemp as my favorite secretaries. I will always be grateful for you two. Rest in peace

Lou loved her Summerfield family.  She was a loyal friend, secretary and bookkeeper.  She served all four principals, administrators and teachers in this outstanding learning community.  Her attendance/attitude was outstanding and her love for others was evident in good and bad times alike. Lou did so many things behind the curtain to make Summerfield a successful program. May God bless her for making such a difference in the lives of the children and staff.  I loved her and will miss her.  Thanks for the memories and support. Rest in peace my dear friend.
